Wrote an extensive recommendations report for East Sussex County Council to ensure best use of resources across local systems and responders, including full analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Project including interviewing a wide range of stakeholders.

Prevention strategy: Suicide prevention strategy for shopping centres and car parks.

Undertook site visits for high risk locations for suicide at JLL’s shopping centres in England.

Wrote an extensive suicide prevention strategy to be rolled out across JLL’s portfolio of shopping centres in the UK.

Strategy drew on national best practice and guidance, and included suicide prevention, trauma support for staff, working with local stakeholders, physical measures recommendations and operational procedures.

New services: Set up National Suicide Prevention Alliance lived experience panel and Pan Essex Perinatal Mental Health Peer Support network

Programme managed the launch of these services/programmes. Included project managing launch, training of staff and volunteers, recruitment of staff, writing policies and procedures, social media, management of Facebook support group, management of panel.

Worked with external stakeholders to promote services and received referrals. Reported into commissioners.

Workforce wellbeing: Project identifying workforce exposed to suicide and suicide content

Working with NHS Sussex and East Sussex County Council, we were tasked with identifying staff and volunteers exposed to suicidal people, suicide, people bereaved by suicide or suicide content.

Interviewed a range of stakeholders to understand their roles, the impact of suicide on wellbeing and what staff/volunteers needs to support their wellbeing further.
