Our sister company is Nuthatch Retreats!
For some time now Neil has been interested in developing events using nature to support people’s wellbeing.
At Nuthatch Retreats we create opportunities for people to get outside, spend time in nature and take part in activities such as nature connection, mindfulness, wildlife spotting, retreats and walk & talks.
We run monthly Woodland Walk and Talks with Mindfulness in south London, it’s a chance to connect with nature and each other.
Our day retreats and men’s events are more immersive than our walks – we have a fire and maybe some wholesome food. A fantastic opportunity to slow down, be in the great outdoors and connect with nature and each other!

We offer Strides – 1 to 1 walks in Bromley/Croydon area with one of our specialist guides.
There is an increasing body of evidence in support of nature based interventions as effective tools to improve mental, physical, and cognitive health outcomes.
Trees lead to better human health. The key impacts include improved air quality, higher levels of physical exercise, a reduction in serious health conditions and higher levels of reported happiness and mental wellbeing.
Short-term exposure to the forest can enhance positive emotions, lower blood pressure and heart rate and reduced stress hormones.
PRICE: Companionship walks – £45/hour.

We draw on the 5 Steps to Mental Wellbeing.
- Connect with other people. We hope to have up to 15 participants for each retreat.
- Be physically active. There will an opportunity to explore on foot our beautiful venue.
- Learn new skills. We will be undertaking some introductions to activities in nature that we hope you can use in your every day life to support your wellbeing.
- Give to others. Although we’ll only be together for a short period we want to support each other practically and emotionally when necessary. Please come with an open non-judgemental heart.
- Pay attention to the present moment (mindfulness). Paying more attention to the present moment can improve your mental wellbeing. This includes your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you.
